Toombs County’s Leesa Hagan narrowly defeated Appling County’s Wally Sapp in Tuesday’s special election runoff to choose a replacement for State Rep. Greg Morris. The Joint Development Authority (JDA) of Jeff Davis County, Hazlehurst and Denton has received a $500,000 Building Renovation Loan from the OneGeorgia Authority.
