It’s Shoebox Time

It’s October and that means it’s shoebox time. Time to pack Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes.
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse that uses gift-filled shoeboxes to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children around the world. Since 1993, Samaritan’s Purse has collected and delivered more than 244 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 175 countries and territories.
After receiving a shoebox gift, children have the opportunity to enroll in The Greatest Journey — A 12-week Bible Study where they discover who Jesus is and how to begin their own journey of faith. Since 1993, over 52 million children have made decisions for Christ through the Greatest Journey.
In 2025, 12.2 million shoeboxes were project. Participating is easy and fun. Because He Lives Ministries has free shoeboxes for you or your church or other organization. Visit them for your supplies or questions you may have.National collection week is Nov. 16 –23. Volunteers are needed that week. Contact David or Gail Miller for more information on helping during collection week.
