Wind, rain expected from Elsa

According to the National Weather Service office in Jacksonville, Fla., tropical storm Elsa is expected to impact Jeff Davis County Wednesday evening with high winds, heavy rainfall and possible tornadoes.
Potential wind for the area is predicted to be 39 to 57 mph with potential moderate flooding rain and the potential for a few tornadoes.
Sustained tropical storm force wind probabilities from Tuesday to Sunday for the Jeff Davis County area is 20%.
The predicted path of the storm is east of Jeff Davis County with the heaviest rainfall expected to be on the path and east of it, so Hazlehurst is expected to be less affected by the storm than the city and counties to the east. Jeff Davis County is expected to get 2-3 inches of rain. Most of the rainfall will occur Wednesday evening, primarily in the eastern/southeastern portions of the county.
