National Champs

Georgia Southern cheerleader Kaitlyn Purser shows off the banner she and her teammates won last week in Daytona Beach, Fla. The GSU cheer team won its seventh national championship at the National Cheerleaders Association National Championship. The all-girl squad took first in the IA Intermediate Division, and the co-ed team finished third. Kaitlyn is the daughter of Tommy and Jennifer Purser of Bogart and the grandaughter of Tommy and Kay Purser of Hazlehurst and the late Michelle Rentz Benton and the late Shorty Rentz.
