Shoeboxes Loaded

David and Gail Miller thank each person, group, or church for participating in Operation Christmas Child. A big special appreciation goes to the churches in the area.
Even with COVID restrictions, churches in the area made sure shoe boxes were filled. Many churches exceeded their expectations and filled more boxes than in the past.
Hazlehurst/Jeff Davis County Fire Rescue were instrumental in helping load the cartons on the truck. Including several surrounding counties, a total of 7,474 shoeboxes were delivered to the processing center in Atlanta for distribution to countries all over the world.
Receiving a shoe box brings joy to boys and girls who are living in dire circumstances, much more than we can imagine. But more than the box, the boys and girls are given an opportunity to experience a 12-week Bible study called the Greatest Journey. Through this Bible study, the children learn about God and that God can help them. They are given hope. Thank you for helping the children.
