Board has called meeting

The Jeff Davis County Board of Education held a called meeting last Friday.
School Superintendent Dr. Chris Roppe and Chief Financial Officer Joshua Worth presented the FY27 Proposed Budget to the board for review. The proposed budget was open for public comment. No public comments were given.
The board accepted the resignations of elementary school teacher Cody Ogilvie, elementary school counselor Hanna Ogilvie, high school school improvement specialist Christy DeLoach and high school custodian Nora Davis.
The board accepted the resignation of transportation/bus driver Windell Horton and approved recomendations to hire primary school music teacher William Shaw and high school special education inclusion teacher Dalton Cameron.
