Hospital offers rapid testing

Jeff Davis Hospital is proud to announce it will offer rapid COVID testing to the public.
Call to schedule an appointment at 833-996-2590. The fee for rapid testing is $40, and the hospital is only accepting cash currently.
Be on time for the appointment and expect to wait at least 30 minutes for results. Results will be provided before the patient leaves.
The hospital is still offering testing through Texas Lab, which is a send-out test; it has a 72-hour turnaround time. When calling to make an appointment, specify which test you would like. Rapid testing does require a nasal swab. A physician’s order isn’t necessary, however, an appointment is.
