A big crowd enjoyed Saturday’s Red, White and Boom celebration of the Fourth of July at the Jeff Davis Fairgrounds. Above, food vendors lined up outside the fairgrounds building. BAngie McCall sang the National Anthem, Van McCall opened the event with prayer and a short talk, and Johnny Watkins talked to the crowd during the opening ceremony. Andrea Taylor was on hand to encourage people to be counted in the 2020 census.
