Mr. Roudolph Myles, 80

Services for Mr. Roudolph Myles, 80, who died Aug. 14, were held Aug. 24, at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.
Pastor Christopher D. Johnson, Pastor Reuben Bennett and Pastor Bobbie Loursey officiated with burial in Northview Cemetery.
Mr. Myles was the son of the late John and Elvira Myles. At an early age he joined Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and later became a member of The Church of God. He was employed at Hazlehurst Mills and other places over the years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His parents and eight brothers preceded him in death.
Survivors include his son, Ricky Edwards (Rosa) of Vidalia; daughter, Bobbie Burkes of Nichols; seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Arthur Lee Myles (Mable) of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Lela Pearl Myles and Mollie Louise Wiley, both of Hazlehurst and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Active pallbearers were Larry McNeil, Monday Weaver, Jabar Myles, Cruz Rumph, Brooks Jones, and Stanley Edwards.
Honorary pallbearers were nephews.
Music was rendered by Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Choir, Mattie McKiver, and Johnny Myles.
Thornton’s Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
