Infant Ja’Queze Xavier Kirby Jr.

Ja’Queze Xavier Kirby Jr. was born at 12:07 p.m. Sept. 8 in Douglas. He was 9 pounds and one ounce and was 22 inches long.
Ja’Queze Jr. departed this life Sept. 10 at the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Fa.
Ja’Queze Jr. was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers Alice “Lisa” Drone and Hilda Valencia, his uncle Ja’Quavious Kirby, and his cousin Rikki Zuniga.
Ja’Queze Jr. leaves to cherish his life and memories with his parents Bianca Torres, and Ja’Queze Kirby; siblings Riley Kirby, Lydni Kirby and Tristan Kirby; grandparents Tino and Esmeralda Torres, Marquita Clements and Jason (Jackie) Kirby; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services were held Sept. 18 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Al Hall, Kolby Carter, Kyrese Manley and Jaylene Kirby.
Honorary pallbearers were Jayshaun Kirby, Tyreck Howell, Cristian Torres and Justin Torres.
Swain Funeral Home Hazlehurst Chapel was in charge.
