Mr. Wilbur Lee ‘Peewee’ Dykes Jr., 50

Mr. Wilbur Lee “Peewee” Dykes Jr., 50, of Hazlehurst passed away Feb. 1 at his residence.
Mr. Dykes was born Oct. 22, 1972, in Jeff Davis County and was employed with Impact Housing. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lorene Dykes and mother, Judy Ann McManus Dykes.
Survivors include his daughter, Caitlyn Dykes of Hazlehurst; son, Cameron Lee Dykes of Hazlehurst; father, Wilbur Dykes Sr. of Denton; brothers, Steven Dykes of Denton and John Dykes of Denton; one precious granddaughter, Ava Dykes of Hazlehurst; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services were held Feb. 4 at Macedonia Church of God with Pastor Van McCall officiating. Interment followed in Denton City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Dykes, Tyler Dykes, Wade Merritt, Austin Sims, Devin Oldham, Ivey Oldham, and Kameron Floyd.
Music was rendered by Angie McCall.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
