Ms. Gayle Diane Wooten Carver, 76

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the memorial service for Ms. Gayle Diane Wooten Carver, 76, who passed away Aug. 13 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Ms. Carver was a member of Lumber City Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Brewer; grandson Jason Carter; father and stepmother, John Edward and Lois Mims Wooten; mother, Meryle Josephine McBride; and siblings, Glynn Wooten, and Wanda McDaniel.
Surviving are children, Paul Brewer of Hazlehurst, Anita Carter (Wuan Gruber) of Baxley, and Marie Meeks (Phil Carter) of Baxley; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; siblings, Stanley Wooten (Linda) of Fairplay, S.C., Tommy McBride of Waycross, Larry McBride of Ambrose, Johnny Burkett (Janet) of Lumber City, Carol Thompson of Hazlehurst, and Linda Monti (Oscar) of Hazlehurst.
A memorial service will be held Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. from Lumber City Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Brown, the Rev. Wayne Duvall and Zachary Meeks officiating.
