Mrs. Mary Cothern Lee, 78

Mrs. Mary Cothern Lee, 78, of Lumber City died Feb. 7 at St. Vincent-Riverside in Jacksonville, Fla.
She was a native of Bacon County but had lived in Lumber City the past 44 years. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Cothern and Cleo Newman Cothern and was also preceded in death by her husband Larry Lee. Mary was owner and operator of Lumber City Meats the past 44 years.
Survivors include three sons Ricky Lee (Pat), Timmy Lee (Denise) and Craig Lee, all of Lumber City; sisters Addie Smith and Yvonnie Sowell of Jacksonville, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Deen officiating. If raining the service will be in the chapel of Crosby Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
