Ms. Janie Jackson Longino, 81

Ms. Janie Mae Jackson Longino, 81, of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 20 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Ms. Longino was born Jan. 9, 1940, in Tattnall County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elton Jackson and Bessie Reddish. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a member of Southside Baptist Church where she loved singing with the Jolly Friends.
Survivors include son, Robert Murray of Hazlehurst; daughter, Debra Adams (Thomas Wood) of Hazlehurst; brothers, Junior Reddish of Glennville and Eugene Reddish of Augusta; sister, Minnie Rowell (Marvin) of Reidsville; nine grandchildren including Cody Ewing, Christopher Ewing, Michael Ewing and Breayla Ewing; great-grandchildren, River Ewing and Jonathon Ewing.
Graveside services were held Jan. 23 at Watermelon Creek Baptist Church in Glennville with the Rev. Jinker Horton and the Rev. Wayne Rountree officiating.
