Mr. Wesley E. Sears, 68

Mr. Wesley E. Sears, 68, of Hazlehurst, died Aug. 19 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Mr. Sears was born March 3, 1952, in Jeff Davis County to the late Wesley Ervin Sears Sr. and the late Bruner Mills Sears. He worked many years in the textile manufacturing industry as a mechanic.
Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Betty Ann and James McIntyre of Hazlehurst; nephews, Ricky Josey (Sylvia) of Hazlehurst and Timmy Josey (Darlene) of Hazlehurst; several great nieces and nephews; closest friend, Mike Powell.
Graveside services were held Aug. 22 with the Rev. Glynn Stinson and Chaplain Timmy Josey officiating at Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Boatright, Mike Powell, Scott Buchans and Randall Mills.
Active pallbearers were Raymond Jowers, Jimmie Ryles, Colon Claxton and Chaplain Timmy Josey.
