Mr. Leroy Franklin (Stank) Clements, 66

Services for Mr. Leroy Franklin (Stank) Clements, 66, who died Feb. 5 at his home in Detroit, MI, were held Feb. 15 at St. James C.M.E. Church in Lumber City.
Bishop William Hollis officiated the service with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lumber City.
Mr. Clements, born in Lumber City, was the son of Mrs. Helen Boyd Clements and the late Mr. Leroy Clements. He was educated in Telfair County School System. Later in life, he moved to Detroit. He worked many years in the automobile industry, then began his own lawn services. He also loved playing cards and watching western movies. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Mr. Leroy Clemens; brother, Willie Lee Clements; sister, Annie Ruth Baker; grandparents, Jim and Ruth Boyd and Annie and Edward Earl Clements.
Survivors include his daughters, Nicole Barnes of Atlanta and Shana (Quinton) Windom of Detroit, MI; grandchildren, Jarvis Franklin and Jaidon Windom of Detroit, MI, Trebian “Tre” Smiley and Kamari Jordan of Atlanta; mother, Mrs. Helen Boyd Clements of Lumber City; brothers, Millon (Rhonda) Clements of Hazlehurst, Jimmie Lee (Francis) Clements, Jerry Dean (Alicia) Clements of Lumber City; sister, Rosalind Bess of Lumber City; special friend, Rita Stubblefield and a host of family and friends.
Active pallbearers were Aaron Clements, Corey Boyd, Michael Boyd, Royrickus Clements Jr., Kenneth Strong Jr, and Autuan Walton.
Honorary pallbearers were Lionell barnes, Willie Frank “Bull” Boyd, Khamari Jordan, Reginald Nails, Jaidon Windom, and Jarvis Windom.
Music was rendered by Brother Bernard Clements.
Thornton’s Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
