Ms. Shannon Renee Frederick, 45

Services for Ms. Shannon Renee Frederick, 45, who died Nov. 27, were held Dec. 7 at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Cyprus O’Neal and Pastor Reuben Bennett Jr. officiated with burial in St. Matthews Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ms. Frederick, who was born in Fulton County, died at her residence in Hazlehurst after an extended illness. She graduated from Harper High School in Atlanta and then attended Altamaha Technical College in Jesup, where she received her Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Early in life she joined Mt. Calvary Missionary baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Maggie and Hezzie Frederick; aunts, Mary Etta Robertson and Wendy McMillan and uncles, Henry Newton and Wallace Sanders.
Survivors include her children, Morris Eugene Frederick, Tahquan Clark and Shanterria Brigitte Clark, all of Hazlehurst; mother, Ruth Elain Frederick of Hazlehurst; granddaughter, Grace LaKayla Frederick of Fitzgerald; five aunts, five uncles, cousins and a host of friends and relatives and special friend, Taquanta E. Hornsby.
Active pallbearers were Gregory Frederick, Arthur Green, Stacy Chambers, Kortney Adams, and Deveontarius McDuffie.
Honorary pallbearers were Michale Hendrix, Keny McRay, Horace Fryer and Chadwick Parker.
Music was rendered by Denise Dixon and Community Choir.
Thornton’s Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
