Mr. Johnnie Lee Hansley, 63

Services for Mr. Johnnie Lee Hansley, 63, who died Nov. 21, were held Dec. 7 at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church.
Pastor Eddie Harmon, Elder Dorothy Dotson, Minister Rudine Blackshear and Evangelist Carrie Lee Thomas officiated with burial in Hall/Wilcox Cemetery.
Mr. Hansley, born in Hazlehurst, was the son of the late John Robert Hansley and the late Claudia Mae Benjamin Hansley. He attended Jeff Davis High School and continued his education at South Georgia College in Douglas. He became of member of Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church. He enjoyed reading, writing, researching, training and teaching, and most important, family time. He successfully opened and operated several businesses including J&J Automotive, Twilight Zone Entertainment and Hansley Apartments. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara King and his brother, Larry Clemons.
Survivors include his wife, Rosie Hansley of Hazlehurst; his children, Delery Hansley of Hazlehurst, Lashaun Vann of Hazlehurst, Timothy Hansley (Dee) of San Diego, CA, Natraille Charmane Singleton (Nikita) of Dublin, and Terry Tarus Davis (Debbie) of Norfolk, VA; godchild, Shavonta Robinson of Gainesville, FL; his sisters and brothers, Carolyn Glover (Kenneth) of Broxton, Tim Hansley and Willie Hansley, both of Hazlehurst, Patricia Jones (Earl) of Stone Mountain, Joe Hansley (Angela) of Douglas, Glenn Hansley (Lorraine) of Atlanta, Brenda Hansley of Stone Mountin and Johnny Clemons of Graham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Zonnia McMillan (John), Lula Harmon, Bobby Harmon, Ricky Harmon, Joe Harmon (Wendy), Freddie Harmon (Veronica) and Elder Eddie Harmon (Helen), all of Hazlehurst and Lizzie Harmon of Brunswick; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Freddy Harmon, Ray Charles Denning, Eugene Wilcox, DeMarrio Hansley, Ezekio Hansley, Deshay Hansley Joe L. Hansley,
Music was rendered by The Benjamin Family, Johnny Myles and the Choir.
Thornton’s Funeral Home of Hazlehurst was in charge of arrangements.
