Mrs. Juanita Winge Branch, 83
Mrs. Juanita Winge Branch, 83, of Hazlehurst, passed away July 31 at South Georgia Health System in Brunswick.
Mrs. Branch was born Jan. 29, 1936, in Bacon County to the late Thomas Winge and the late Eula Mims Winge. She was a retired office manager from Ferrell Gas, active member and President of the Pilot Club, the recipient of the 2018 Citizen of the Year award from the Chamber of Commerce, and a member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Branch.
Survivors include daughters, Debra Bragdon (Ronnie) of Brunswick and Sonja Zelinger (Alan) of St. Simons; sons, Danny Branch (Stacie) of Odum and Kim Branch (Connie) of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Justin Branch, Jesse Branch, Kinslee Branch, Robin Wilcox, Courtney Hester, Cliff Bragdon and Scott Bragdon; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Frances Yarbrough of Baxley, Sylvia McDaniel of Hazlehurst and Thomas Winge (Margaret) of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 2 at First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst with the Rev. Brad Waters officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Mrs. Branch’s Sunday School Class, the Sunshine Sisters.
Active pallbearers were Rhett Hester, Justin Branch, Jesse Branch, Cliff Bragdon, Jeffery Winge and Greg Ussery.
Music was rendered by Jeffery Spell.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
