Ms. Malissia Lynn Brown Dupree, 52

Ms. Malissia Lynn Brown Dupree, 52, of Hazlehurst, died June 23 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Ms. Durpee was born Jan. 29, 1967, in Bacon County.
She had lived most of her life in Jeff Davis County and was a photographer. She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Brown and grandson, Alex Hinnant.
Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Megan and Jesse Blanton of Hazlehurst and Malorie Dupree of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Mara Hinnant of Hazlehurst; mother, Myrle Creamer Brown of Hazlehurst; sister, Marsha Dupree of Hazlehurst; and three grandchildren.
Services were held June 26 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor with the Rev. Harrison Steege officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Paul Brown, Jerry Patton, Glenn Bryant, Austin Hall, Duncan Cannon, Earl Bryant, and Jesse Blanton.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
