Mr. Spencer Owens, 41

Mr. Spencer Owens, 41, of Hazlehurst, died July 3.
Mr. Owens was born May 25, 1978, in Coffee County but had resided most of his life in Hazlehurst. He was a construction worker and member of Elbethel Church.
Survivors include his parents, Debbie and John Owens of Hazlehurst and Perry Darley of Monroe; sister, Katherine Owens of Hazlehurst; grandfather, the Rev. J. Barry Owens of Hazlehurst.
Services were held July 6 at First Alliance Church with the Rev. Jerry McKinnon and Spencer’s grandfather, the Rev. J. Barry Owens officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
