Mr. Ronnie L. Wilcox, 68

Mr. Ronnie L. Wilcox, 68, of Hazlehurst, died April 11 at St Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
Mr. Wilcox was born June 21, 1950, in Jeff Davis County to the late Henry Luther Wilcox and the late Opal Powell Wilcox.
He was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and is preceded in death by his wife, Lavern Mason Wilcox and son, Don Wilcox.
Survivors include his son Bill Wilcox of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Sarah Wilcox, Grant Wilcox, and Reece Wilcox; sisters, Marilyn Spoon of Denton, Melcene Hatton of Denton, and Vicky Varnadore of Denton; brothers, Burch Wilcox of Denton and Hank Wilcox of Denton; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 14 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Colter officiating.
Interment followed in Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Grant Wilcox, Reece Wilcox, Jason Wilcox, Luke Selph, Brock Middleton and Ross Dubberly.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
