Mr. Jimmy Brown, 82

Mr. Jimmy Brown, 82, of Hazlehurst, died April 2 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Mr. Brown was born Sept. 18, 1936, in Jeff Davis County to the late Eugene Brown and the late Eudell Beecher Brown. He was previously employed with Worth Monument and a member of Satilla Free Will Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Hilda Brown and Roy Brown.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Guess Brown of Hazlehurst; daughter, Ann Brown (Stacey Hayes) of Hazlehurst; sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Cindy Brown, Shane and Helen Brown and Cody and Carol Brown all of Hazlehurst; sisters, Virginia Holloway of Macon; brothers, Billy Brown of Hazlehurst, Gerald Brown of Hazlehurst and Tommy Brown of Hazlehurst; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 5 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment followed at Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Tyler Brown, Hunter Wood, Caleb Brown, Josh Rowland, Wesley Cleveland, and David Moore.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
