Mr. Jerry Thompson, 67

Mr. Jerry Thompson, 67, of Lumber City, died March 25 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia.
Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 8, 1951, in Telfair County to the late William Lewis Thompson and the late Louise Elizabeth Screws Thompson. He was a retired fiber optic project manager and a member of Lumber City Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Powell Thompson, two daughters, Serena Thompson and Candace Brown, and sister, Linda Thompson.
Survivors include daughters, Holly Thompson (Van Williams) of Statesboro and Heidi Toler (Josh Zacher) of Six Mile, S.C.; brother, Larry Thompson of Lumber City; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Services were held March 27 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. John Daughtry officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City.
Active pallbearers were Dalton Crosby, Devin Crosby, Tyler Brown, Cadyn Toler, Dylan Toler, and Hunter Williams.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
