Mrs. Patricia Yawn Spell, 74

Mrs. Patricia Yawn Spell, 74, of Baxley, died Jan. 30 at her residence.
Mrs. Spell was born Feb. 16, 1944, in Jeff Davis County to the late Henry Yawn and the late Virginia Hipps Yawn.
She was a farm wife and a member of Big Oaks Church of God.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Spell and her sisters, Lula Mae Bryant and Avey Breedlove.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Amy Spell of Baxley; granddaughter, Payton Spell of Baxley; sisters, Henrietta Allen of Baxley and Alene Rentz of Hazlehurst; brother, Buddy Yawn of Douglas; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Feb. 2 at Big Oaks Church of God with the Rev. Mark Grimes, the Rev. Gary Horton, and the Rev. Richard Lewis officiating.
Internment followed in Zoar Cemetery in Appling County.
Honorary pallbearers were the Adult Sunday School Class of Big Oaks Church of God and all friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Will Wooten, Stanley McCall, Howard Scott, Danny Hesters, Stanley Miller, and Tony Cabaniss.
Musical selections were rendered by Debbie Taylor.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
