Mrs. Eddie Sue Turner Partin, 76

Mrs. Eddie Sue Turner Partin, 76, of Douglas, left our world Feb. 3 at Memorial University Hospital, Savannah.
Mrs. Partin was born on March 18, 1942, in Hazlehurst to Ed and Gladys Marie Douglas Turner of Hazlehurst who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Stephen Andrew Partin.
Mrs. Partin attended South Georgia College where she received a degree in accounting and worked for many years as an accountant and bookkeeper. She was a member of Tanner Baptist Church.
Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, Homer Partin of Douglas; brother, Wayne Turner (Frances) of Brunswick; grandchildren, Tyler Keith Partin of Cordele, Chuck Strickland (Elizabeth) and their children, Peyton and Garrison Strickland of Brunswick, Kristen Strickland, E-6 MM1 on the USS San Diego LPD-22 (Alisa) and their children, Madison, Abigail and Elizabeth Strickland of San Diego, Calif.; many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law; best friend, Edna Davis of Douglas.
Services were held Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. at Tanner Baptist Church with the Rev. Buddy Jordan officiating and Ben Mallory giving the eulogy. Interment was in the church cemetery.
