Mrs. Kattie Bookhardt Johnson, 47

Mrs. Kattie Bookhardt Johnson, 47, of Hazlehurst, died Sept. 25 at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.
Mrs. Johnson was born May 4, 1971, in Jeff Davis County.
She was a loving wife, mother, a friend to all and employed with Williams Brothers Trucking. She was a faithful member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and is preceded in death by her brother, Little John Bookhardt.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Johnson of Hazlehurst; daughter, Erica (Corey) Solomon of Hazlehurst; son, John (Jamie) Bush of Hazlehurst; step-daughters, Stephanie (Charles) Thornton of Hazlehurst, Brandie Davis of Hazlehurst, and Lana (Michael) Owings of Hazlehurst; mother, Sandra Gayle Cothern of Hazlehurst; father, John Hamilton Bookhardt of Snipesville; siblings, Patricia Hughes, Wesley Bookhardt, Jessica Snyder, Megan King, Shane Bookhardt, Amiee Green, Hannah Bookhardt; grandchildren, Paisley Solomon and Landon Solomon; seven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; special friend, Susan Sharpe.
Services were held Sept. 28 at Lighthouse Christian Fellowship with the Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson, the Rev. Roger Daniels and the Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment followed in Union Springs Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were staff and employees of Williams Brothers Trucking, members of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, Hazlehurst Police Department and Hazlehurst Sheriff’s Department.
Active pallbearers were Gerald Lewis, Brian Newell, Michael Davis, Cole Edge, Corey Solomon and Kevin Sellers.
Musical selections were rendered by the Choir of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
