Mrs. Velma Irene Crosby Walker, 91

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral for Mrs. Velma Irene Crosby Walker, 91, of Baxley, formerly of McRae, who passed away Aug. 14. Services were held Aug. 17 in Eureka Baptist Church.
The Rev. Charles Carter officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery near Lumber City.
Mrs. Walker was born in Jeff Davis County. She was the daughter of the late Dewey Crosby and Clifford Sellers Crosby and was the wife of the late Sanders B. Walker Jr. Mrs. Walker was a homemaker.
Active pallbearers were Steve Ricks, Greg Crosby, Ivey Brewer, Newell Blakenbaker, Ricky Crosby and Allen Smith.
Miles Funeral Home was in charge.
