Mr. Grant Floyd, 76

Mr. Grant Floyd, 76, of Hazlehurst, died Aug. 8 at Lumber City Nursing Home.
Mr. Floyd was born Dec. 3, 1941, in Palatka, Fla., to the late Ruben Perry Floyd and the late Annie Dora Collins.
He had lived most of his life in Hazlehurst and was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Mason.
Survivors include sister, Carlene Gourley of Hazlehurst; brothers, Robert and Frances Floyd of Savannah and Billy Floyd of Lyons; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 10 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Andy Williams officiating.
Interment followed in Palms Memorial Garden.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
