Mrs. Arlie May Hand, 76

Mrs. Arlie May Hand, 76, of Hazlehurst, died Aug. 4 at Jeff Davis Hospital.
Ms. Hand was born April 26, 1942, in Jeff Davis County to the late Austin (Doc) Hand and the late Ola Lewis Hand. She was a housewife and a member of Hazlehurst Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Colquitt Johnson, sisters, Shirley Hand and JoAnn Hand.
Survivors include daughter, Kimmila Amerson of Florida; sons, James Earl Floyd (Cindy) of Hazlehurst and Donald Johnson of Hazlehurst; sisters Rose Hand and Loretta; brothers, Doffus Hand (Shirley), Rex Hand, Jack Hand and Jimbo Hand (Tonya); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family may be contacted at the residence, 358 Belle Telephone Road, Hazlehurst.
A memorial service was held Monday at her residence.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
