Mrs. Virginia Smith Haynes, 69

Mrs. Virginia Smith Haynes, 69, of Hazlehurst, died April 15 at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus.
Mrs. Haynes was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Coffee County to the late Joshua Daniel Smith and the late Vera Smith. She was a retired secretary with Appling County E.M.S., loving wife and mother, member of Bridgeford Church of God. She is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Harper.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Haynes of Hazlehurst; daughters, Cathy Railey (Michael) of Denton, Patricia Sharpe (Richard) of Hahira and Kelly Brinkley (Jamar) of Hazlehurst; sons, Steve Haynes (Priscilla) of Hazlehurst, Carl Haynes (Andrea) of Hazlehurst and Brent Haynes (Angie) of Hazlehurst; sister, Jean Carol Rawlins of Broxton; brother, Jimmy Smith of Broxton; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Services were held April 18 at Bridgeford Church of God with the Rev. Milton Thomas and the Rev. Jeremy DeLoach officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were the Bridgeford Church of God Choir.
Active pallbearers were Greg Brantley, Trace Haynes, James Lewis, Thomas Treat, Joseph Herndon and Ethan Haynes.
Musical selections were rendered by the Rev. Jeremy Deloach and the Bridgeford Church of God Choir.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
