Mrs. Jean Conner McNeal, 85

Mrs. Jean Conner McNeal, 85, of Hazlehurst, died April 16 at the Pavilion in Baxley.
Mrs. McNeal was born April 17, 1933, in Appling County to the late Idell Johnson. She was a homemaker, a child care provider in her home for several years and member of Southside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hiley McNeal and two sons, Mike McNeal and Kim McNeal.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Buddy Creech of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Brandon Creech, Brooke Creech, Justin McNeal, Jessie Caulson and Johnny Caulson; great-grandchildren, Braydon Creech and Haydon Creech; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, George Murray.
Services were held April 18 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Steve Sumner and the Rev. Jeffery Spell officiating. Interment followed in Palms Memorial Garden.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends, family, staff and friends of the Appling County Pavilion.
Active pallbearers were Steve Sumner, Brandon Creech, Justin McNeal, Jessie Caulson, Johnny Caulson and Braydon Creech.
Musical selections were rendered by Janice Brown.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
