Auditors Honor Thompson

uring last Thursday night’s Hazlehurst City Council workshop, City Clerk Vernice Thompson was presented with a Certificate of Excellence by CKH Group of Atlanta, the city’s auditing firm.
The certificate, the first ever given by CKH, recognized Thompson as Clerk of the Year for her years of above-and-beyond impact and service. Among those from CKH who traveled from Atlanta to make the presentation were Brian Cagle, Bill Webb, Jenelle Gordon, and CFO Eon Van Wyk. The certificate was signed by Roger Nixon, group vice president of business development, and CEO Kateryna Kudrenko.
