Security detail

There’s more to providing security at Jeff Davis High basketball games than most people think. Sometimes the job entails mopping floors. Jeff Davis Elementary School’s School Resource Officer Richard Taylor from the Hazlehurst Police Department also provides security at Jeff Davis High School’s home basketball games. At Saturday night’s game, Taylor heard a report that there was water on the floor behind the visiting team’s bench. So he grabbed a mop and went top work.
