High school registration is next week

Jeff Davis High School will host registration for the 2026-2027 school year.
Teachers and administration have worked hard to place students in the right academic courses that will help lead them to a successful future and students have had a chance to choose their electives. The registration will primarily be online so be mindful of important dates coming up to finalize your child’s academic plan.
Feb. 2, current 9th, 10th and 11th graders will check their academic plan in Infinite Campus. If a 9th-11th grade student needs a paper copy of their academic plan to take home, they need to see Dr. Barber (Swain) to pick up a copy on Feb. 2.
Current 8th-grade students will receive a paper copy of their academic plan Feb. 2 during Jacket Time.
Every student, current 8th-11th, will be sent detailed instructions in email on how to look at their plan. Parents should take time to review the email and the plan with their children. For questions or concerns about the plan, fill out the form sent to students’ email Feb. 2. The form is due Feb. 4. No action is needed if parents are in agreement with the academic plan. The high school career center will reach out to parents who fill out the form the week of Feb. 2-6 in hopes of confirming the plans. Be patient as school officials work through responses and questions that arise.
