Mrs. Alisha Dy-Anne Waters, 55

Mrs. Alisha Dy-Ann Waters, 55, of Hazlehurst, passed away Oct. 12 at her residence, and was welcomed into Heaven by her mother, Mrs. Patricia Ruth Bennett Crapps, with open arms.
Mrs. Waters was born Aug. 18, 1970, in Bacon County. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. Her children fondly said that “Na-Ne and Pa had an awesome marriage — a love like no other.” Alisha and her beloved husband were like two peas in a pod, always together, joined at the hip and truly inseparable. She attended Phillippi Baptist Church and was a wonderful example of love and devotion to everyone who knew her. Her grandchildren were her world and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her husband Larry Eugene Waters Sr., of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law Eugene (Roseanna) Waters Jr. of Vidalia; daughters and sons-in-law Toni Patrice (Chris) Mitchell of Jacksonville, Braxton (Jeremy Kersey) Livingston of Hazlehurst and Angel (Kevin) Kester of Uvalda; father Robert James Crapps Jr. of Baxley; brother Robert “Jimbo” Crapps III of Baxley; sisters Michelle (John) Chaney of Green Cove, Fla., and Dana Hallman of Elkton, Fla.; grandchildren Kamden, Liana, Deuce, Emma, Layla, Raylen, Legacy, Emmory, Kevin and Tucker; and special niece Amellia Bernal.
Services were held Oct. 17 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Royce Hulett officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Chris Mitchell, Chad Baucom, Jeremy Kersey, Stacey Waters, Larry Eugene Waters and Sammy Andrews.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
