Trio nabbed in connection to burglaries

The Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Department investigated a series of incidents in the Pat Dixon Road area over the past few weeks.
On May 21, damage was done to construction equipment at the job site for construction of the new Jeff Davis County Primary School on Pat Dixon Road.
Five days later, the concession stand at the Jeff Davis County Recreation Department site on Pat Dixon Road was burglarized. The suspect(s) took candy and other items from the building.
A week later, on the night of June 3, the concession stand and office at the Jeff Davis County Recreation Department off Pat Dixon Road was burglarized. Reported taken were candy, drinks, a small amount of cash, two weedeaters and power tools were taken from the sites.
The next day, June 4, investigators recovered the property taken from the Recreation Department at two locations. An adult and two juveniles were charged in connection with the incidents.
The adult arrested in connection with the burglaries was Trent Lynch, 18.
