Sellers, Beach earn All-State honors

Two members of the 2024 Jeff Davis High School football team earned All-State Honors in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Class A, Divison 1 All State Team.
Defensive back La’Trell Sellers, a 6′-2″, 210 lb. junior, was named to the First Team All State Defense. And senior quarterback Colby Beach was named an Honorable Mention All-State selection.
Other Region 1 players earning First Team All-State honors were Worth County wide receiver D’ontae Fulton, Thomasville offensive lineman Jaylen Walden, Fitzgerald’s Micah O’Neal, who was named First Team as an Athlete, and Worth County linebacker Shermon Smith.
Region players receiving Honorable Mention recognition were Thomasville defensive lineman Geremiah Humbert, Fitzgerald linebacker Tyson King, Thomasville quarterback Cam Hill, and Worth County quarterback Lyndon Worthy.
Other players from schools the Yellow Jackets played in 2024 were Fannin County quarterback Lawson Sullivan (First Team), Washington County linebacker Cam Shaw (HM) and Fannin County running back Carson Callihan (HM).
