Soccer has tough foe in Thomasville

Jeff Davis Soccer had a tough week as they faced off against Appling County and Thomasville.
First up was Appling on Tuesday and the girls secured a 6-1 victory against them. Alex Arano scored 3 goals, while Carrie Ellen Arnold, Abby Harper, and Mayrani Trejo each scored a goal.
On the boys side, it was a 3-0 loss.
On Thursday, the teams traveled to Thomasville for a huge region matchup. The girls lost 8-1, with the lone goal coming from Abby Harper, and the boys lost in penalties after a hard fought match that took them to overtime.
Both teams hope to bounce back as they face Bacon County on Tuesday and Brantley County on Friday, both matches at home. Come out and support!
