Mrs. Kytrice Kiana “KK” Kirk, 29

Services for Miss Kytrice Kiana “KK” Kirk, 29, who died March 18 at Savannah Memorial Hospital, were held March 24 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Lumber City with Pastor Laura Clemons presiding.
Miss Kirk was born Nov. 9, 1994, in Eastman to the late Jeannette Kirk and Milton Paul. After the passing of her parents, her aunt and uncle, Laura and Troy Kirk, raised her at the request of her mother. KK was a lifelong resident of Lumber City.
KK joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She graduated from Telfair County High School in 2014. She loved playing basketball with the Telfair Trojans, #32, and Montezuma Traveling Team. She was a member of the track team and, in 2014, was a contestant in the region shot put.
KK was the life of the party. Being silly around friends and teachers was a joy to her. She loved cooking, playing spade and UNO card games. Her most treasured moments were visiting family in Atlanta, Macon and Baxley. She loved dressing in the latest fashions.
Survivors include her aunt and uncle; godson Jordan Gaddy of Lumber City; sister Pamela Kirk (Ricky Edwards) of Vidalia; brothers Markell (Angel) Kirk of McDonough, Dallas (Bridgette) Kirk of Seattle, Wash., and Adonta (Heather) Kirk of Macon; nieces Jeannette and Gabby Kirk; and nephew Desmon Kirk, all of Vidalia; other siblings DeAngela Paulk, Chaz Coley, Dean Smith, Kendra King, Lakeisha (Daryl) Coley, Sandra Henderson, Queen (Kevin) Coley and Ethel (Kendrick) Denning; aunts Vernice (John Henry) Wilcox of Lumber City, Geraldine Horton, Sharon (Mark Patterson) Smith, all of Hazlehurst, and Alma (Johnny) Tippins of Surrency, Queen Kitchen, Donette Paul, Elaine (Darren) Wooten all of Baxley; uncles Wilfred (Sharon) Pace of Orangeburg, S.C., Ray Smith of Hazlehurst, Dennis Paul, Robert (Betty Jean) Paulk, Pearlie (Joann) Paulk, all of Baxley, Mitchell (Floretta) Paulk of Pembroke, and Dale Paulk of Griffin; loving partner Kasey Scott of Lyons; adoptive brother Brandon Greene of Tifton; confidant-loving friend Shasmine Green of Lumber City; special cousin Tasha Clemons of Fitzgerald; and a host of other relatives and friends.
