Ms. Marie Dukes Taylor, 55

Ms. Marie Dukes Taylor, 55, of Hazlehurst, died June 1 at her residence.
Ms. Taylor was born Nov. 9, 1967, in Stewart, Fla.
She is preceded in death by her father, Israel Lafayette (I.L.) Dukes, and her husband, Jeffery Taylor.
All her family said she enjoyed life to the fullest, enjoyed listening to music, and was definitely the life of the party wherever she was and she attended Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Ms. Ethel Toler Dukes of Hazlehurst; brothers, Aaron Dukes, Silas (Sheila) Dukes, Charles (Sandra) Dukes, and Bobby (Pam) Dukes all of Hazlehurst; fiancé, Don Wooten of Hazlehurst; step-children, Cindy Brown, Renee Ryals, LeeAnn Swinehart, Sarah Wooten, Joseph Wooten, Wesley Wooten and Julie Marten; 27 step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held June 4 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. Manford Gilbert officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Joseph Wooten, Wesley Wooten, Gary Ryals Jr., Daniel Dukes, Lee Dukes, and Tyler Dukes.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
