Mrs. Laronia Ann Clemons, 55

Mrs. Laronia Ann Clemons was born Nov. 14, 1967, in Hazlehurst to the late Elizabeth Jean Clemons Williams.
She  accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion CME in Graham and continued her profession of faith at Triumph Church of Hazlehurst as one of the founding members. She faithfully served wherever needed until her death.
She was educated at Appling County High School, obtained a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate from Altamaha Technical College and was employed over 15 years in various rehabilitation facilities in the area.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother known to her grandchildren as “Granny.” She enjoyed watching CNN, and comical TV series. She was known as a online shopper and always had athings to disburse to those with whomshe came in contact.
She died June 1. She fought a good fight and demonstrated strength in her dedication to live now to live again. She was preceeded in death by her mother; step-father Jimmy Williams Sr; step-mother Nancy Seward; sister-in-law Tawanna Williams; sister Eda Mae Williams; grandparents Ira and Sula Clemons; Johnny and Anna Seward.
Survivors include her father Glenn Seward (Miami, Fla.); children Kimberly (Shedrick) Grady (Douglas), Daunte Clemons, Teandra Clemons (Baxley); grandchildren Jarrard Grady, Shedrick Grady Jr, and Tyler Grady (Douglas); siblings Tara Woody (Savannah), Beverly Seward (Palmetto), Renae Clemons and Charlotte Williams (Graham), Jimmy Williams (Graham); uncles Ira Lee Clemons Jr., Ivy Jean Clemons, Richard Seward, Roosevelt Seward; aunts  Cora King, Ella Studevent, Dorothy Hayes, Etta Kemp, Shirley Johnson; nephews Jarrett, Cornelius, Ontario, Jamar, Ja’Quavious, Ja’Marion; special friend Leonard Alderman; long-time friends Carrie Buxton, Eva Sellers, Vanessa Vann, Yvette Bivins, Betsey Conaway, James Kent; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held June 9 at King Brothers Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.
Homegoing celebration will be June 10 at 11 a.m. at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church with burial at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church cemetery in Graham.
King Brothers Funeral and Cremation Services of Hazlehurst is in charge.
