Mrs. Sherrie Herrington Davis, 60

Mrs. Sherrie Herrington Davis, 60, of Hazlehurst passed away peacefully April 28.
Mrs. Davis was born to the late Mr. Cosby Herrington and Mrs. Margaret Dykes Herrington. She loved life and enjoyed many hobbies such as photography and decorating. She was very quiet, intelligent, and talented. She was a giving person, who loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She loved cooking, photography, and especially her two boys, Nick and Nate, and her grandson Colton. Mrs. Davis is preceded in death by her parents, paternal grandparents, Walter and Evie Dykes, and maternal grandparents, Fred and Lucille Hutchinson. Mrs. Davis is survived by her sons, Nicklous Davis (Sierra), and Nate Davis; sister, Debbie Hartley (Ted); grandchild, Colton Davis; nieces, Carrie Poole, Misty Whitehead, Jessica Rewis, Kobey Hartley; nephews, Ricky Hartley, Clay Hartley, Ryan Herrington; and sister-in-law, Debra Herrington.
James Horton, Wayne Thorton, Blake Adams, Tim Poole, Kieth Hutchinson, and Randy Rentz served as pallbearers.
Services held May 2 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor with the Rev. Tyrone Hutchinson officiating. Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
