Mrs. Odessa (Rainey) Clark, 95

Mrs. Odessa (Rainey) Clark was born on May 14, 1930, in Hazlehurst to Jonathan and Jalanie Rainey. She walked this earth for 95 years living a glorious and fulfilling life. On Dec. 22, Odessa entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family.
On Jan. 31, 1970, Odessa entered into holy matrimony with her loving husband Henry Lee Clark. Through their union, their lives were blended and the footprints on this earth were forever changed. Odessa was a devoted wife until the transition of her husband Feb. 5, 2016. She adored, loved, provided and protected her family with everything she had. She never met a stranger and everybody was bound to leave full. She was a dedicated member of Thomas Chapter House of God until her transition.
Odessa was preceded in death by her parents, Jonathan and Jalanie Rainey, husband Henry Lee Clark, children John Robert Linder Jr., Ira Gerald Linder, Catherine Denise Linder and an angel son; and seven siblings. Odessa leaves to cherish her precious memories her four living children Susie Critton (Ammie Lee) of Conyers, Jeffrey Linder (JoeAnn) of Ellenwood, Truly Linder-Hamilton (Wil) of Ellenwood and Henry Clark (Sonya) of Hazlehurst; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers William Rainey (Mable), Lawyer Rainey,; sister Lear Golden; half-brother Larry Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is loved by many and will forever be missed.
Graveside services were held Jan. 3 in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
King Brothers Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge.
