Mrs. Tammie Lashawn Smith, 46

Mrs. Tammie Lashawn Smith was born Oct. 24, 1975, in Augusta to the late Mary Frances Smith and the late David Crawford.
She attended the Jeff Davis School System. She worked as a cook with several businesses.
On Dec. 4, 2015, she married Eddie James Jones Sr.
She departed this life Feb. 21. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Azaline Tobler Smith and Wright Smith, and Doug and Quincy Mae Crawford.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband; son Eddie James Jones Jr.; daughters Tiffany Smith, Shaqualia Jones, and Kalibbia Jones; siblings Augustine Monplaisir, Wintron Monplaisir, Jonathan Smith, David Crawford Jr., Emma Crawford, and Joshua Crawford; as a sister, Sonya Crawford; 11 grandchildren; sisters-in-law Genethal Harris, Shanda (Nick) Spearmon, Shante Harris, and Sabrina Monplaisir; brother-in-law James Harris Sr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral was held March 4 at King Brothers Funeral Home.
King Brothers Funeral Home in Hazlehurst was in charge. Interment was private. www.kingbrothersfh.com
