Mr. Larry Carter, 78
Mr. Larry Carter, 78, of Hazlehurst, passed away Feb. 28.
Mr. Carter was an engineer for Hazlehurst Mills and served in the Korean War in the Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved to tinker with everything.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Doris Carter.
He is survived by his son, Clint Carter of Hazlehurst; daughter, Wren Carter Manning (Randy) of Hazlehurst; brothers, Ronald Carter (Mary Ann) of Hazlehurst, Mark Carter (Rhonda) of Baxley; grandchildren, Landon Carter, Carson Carter, Caitlyn Carter, Cheyne Browning, Cross Browning, and Braelyn Hodge.
Services were held graveside March 2 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Thurman Hayes and the Rev. Randy Manning officiated. All family and friends in attendance were recognized as honorary pallbearers.
