Ms. Naomi Beaver Jacobs, 89

Ms. Naomi Beaver Jacobs, 89, of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 26 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.
Ms. Jacobs was born Aug. 30, 1933, in Wayne County.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Beaver and Anna Lee Rozier Woodcock, brothers, Curtis Beaver, Ardell Beaver, and Walker Beaver, and sister, Virginia Beaver. She attended Hillcrest Baptist Church and retired from Walmart.
Ms. Jacobs had a kind, gentle spirit, always a soft sweet word and a smile.
When going into Walmart she greeted you with a smile. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, and she will be sadly missed.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Jacobs Carver (Danny) of Hazlehurst and Susan Jacobs Leggett of Hazlehurst; son, Gary M. Jacobs of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Ashley Jacobs (Lyndsay), Dawn Jacobs (Paul), Stephanie McDade (Shawn), Kristi Fountain (Warren), Danny Carver Jr., Tiffany Turner, and Ryan Leggett (Alexis); 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 28 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with the Rev. John Daughtry officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.
All family and friends served as honorary pallbearers.
Active pallbearers were Ryan Leggett, Danny Carver Jr., Conner McLoon, Jordan McLoon, Ashley Jacobs, and Tre Carver.
Music was rendered by the Rev. Ronnie Wilcox Jr.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
