Mrs. Ezelle Williams Stapleton, 91
Mrs. Ezelle Williams Stapleton, 91, of Lumber City passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends.
Mrs. Stapleton was born to the late Vernon Dennis Williams and Annie Mae Mullis Williams. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving Christian woman and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a great family cook. She enjoyed sewing, reading, listening to music, and talking on the phone with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Clifford Stapleton, brothers, Curtis Williams, and Marvin Williams, and sisters, Margaret Williams, twin sister, Ozelle Tidwell, Verna Jean Williams, and Della Mae Williams.
She is survived by her children, Clifford Wayne Stapleton (Sheila Flowers) of Lumber City, Jackie Stapleton Bryan (Fred) of Omega, Wanda Stapleton Gregory of Dublin, brothers, Vernon Dennis Williams Jr. (Linda) of Denton, grandchildren, Lisa Kelly, Travis Bryan, Connie Stuhlman, Tony Gregory, April Baker, Emmett Clifford Stapleton, and great-grandchildren Skylar, Michael, Matthew, Jordyn, Dean, Emily, Zachary, Jordin, Emma, Blake, Winsley, and Logan.
Services were held at Wainright-Parlor Chapel Jan. 24. Interment followed at Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lumber City. The Rev. Jack Chaney officiated.
All family and friends in attendance served as honorary pallbearers.
Tony Gregory, Travis Bryan, Dan Kelly, Stanley Land, Kevin Williams, and Cliff Stapleton served as pallbearers.
Wainright-Parlor was in charge.
