Mrs. Elizabeth Partin, 71
Mrs. Elizabeth Partin, 71, of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 16 at her residence.
Ms. Partin was born July 26, 1951, in Valdosta.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Harnage, Verdie Alma Powell Harnage, husband, Cecil C. Partin, son, Greg Partin, sister, Thelma Edmonson and brother, Vernon Harnage.
She was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Community Church.
She loved her children, and grandchildren, enjoyed cooking for them (they said she was a great cook) spending time with them. Her favorite things were to sit on the front porch enjoying the outdoors and going to her friend (Nell Stinson) home, and taking care of her fur baby, Chloe.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Partin (Arthur Sellers) of Hazlehurst; sons, Scottie Partin of Hazlehurst and Allen Partin (Angie) of Hazlehurst; sisters, Glenda (Drew) Petty of Naylor, Louise (Steve) Whaley of Valdosta, Teresa (J.W.) Hall of Lakeland, and Gloria (Claude) Bennett of Valdosta; brother, David (Ruth) Harnage of Valdosta; daughter-in-law, Montine Partin of Hazlehurst; grandkids, Lance Partin, Joshua Partin, Almeria Covington, Hannah Sellers, Shawn Sellers, Ansley Partin, Sabrina Harrell, and Brandon Harrell; great-grandchild, Allie Partin; special friend, Nell Stinson; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Jan. 18 in the chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. and the funeral will follow at 2 with the Rev. Charles Carter and the Rev. Thomas Colter officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Community Church Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were all friends and family in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Brent Simpson, Darrell Mincey, Scottie Partin, Shawn Sellers, Lance Partin, and Marvin Brantley.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
