Mr. Roy Allen Conner, 82

Mr. Roy Allen Conner, 82, of Hazlehurst, died Jan. 16 at Hazlehurst Court Care.
Mr. Conner was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Conner, and Annie Bell Corley Conner, a brother, Willis Conner, and brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Parker.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Western Auto.
He enjoyed bass fishing, playing cards for fun, baseball, and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed entertaining everyone just to make them laugh.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Conner of Hazlehurst; sister, Betty Joyce Conner Parker; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Edith and Peyton Rowland of Hazlehurst.
A memorial service will be held later.
